In dent dental technology started operating in 2006 as part of the “Prof. Džolev” dental polyclinic. We provide services in the field of fixed prosthetics and all types of implant-supported restorations.
Our modernly equipped laboratory houses a team of ten dental technicians with many years of experience. Through continuous education at national and international conferences, working with renowned mentors, and introducing digital systems and new technologies aligned with global trends, we enable work to the highest standards.
Zirconia is characterized by high biocompatibility, longevity, and a natural appearance, making this material an excellent solution in many cases.
In our laboratory, all zirconia restorations are obtained by milling in the Zirkonzahn CAD-CAM system. Zirkonzahn offers a wide selection of zirconia blocks with different characteristics to satisfy even the most demanding zirconia prosthetic restorations.
For the production of metal-ceramic crowns and bridges, we use biocompatible, nickel- and beryllium-free alloys, whether they are manufactured digitally or analogously.
Today, we use digital technology for the majority of our work. After the computer design of the metal-ceramic crowns and bridges, the framework itself is produced on a 3D printer, ensuring the high precision of the restoration.
We use different types of ceramics for veneering the metal frameworks. Depending on the case, the technician selects the type of ceramic to veneer the metal based on the capabilities of different ceramic systems. It is an advantage that, whenever possible, the technician meets the patient for a photograph, analysis, and shade selection.
Prosthetics on implants is one of the most demanding areas in dentistry. The emphasis of all prosthetic works on implants is on the precision of the fit (seating) of the basic structures onto the implant components and their relationship to the soft tissues around the implant.
Prosthetics on implants requires the use of digital technology. The application of the latest technological procedures and continuous professional development are preconditions for functional and aesthetic success. This is why we have long-term reliability in prosthetic work on implants.
Ceramic veneers are an aesthetic solution for changing the color and shape of teeth. Materials we use in the production of veneers or onlays:
Lithium disilicate glass ceramic, which possesses high aesthetic properties and exceptional resistance of 400 MPa.
Vitablocs Mark II (vita)
Vitablocs Mark II is a fine-structured feldspathic ceramic with a strength of 154 MPa.
Diagnostic wax-up is used to determine the most favorable shape and position of the fixed prosthetic restoration. It provides diagnostic information that contributes to establishing the treatment planning and serves as a guide for tooth preparation.
It can be made in two ways: analogously by waxing the model, or digitally, using computer design and model printing.
By creating a diagnostic mock-up, the therapeutic goal is even better visualized directly on the patients themselves. This allows the patient to assess the therapy’s outcome personally.
Subsequently, a joint decision is made regarding the most favorable shape, size, and length of the teeth. With such an approach, the patient will accept the final result with greater satisfaction.
